More Preferences

Several new preferences have been added (see below).

• When deleting information you are now presented a confirmation alert.
• You can configure the categories so that they will be automatically sorted.
• You can set an option to always show the associated notes.

• You can automatically save documents when you close windows.
• You can save documents every 'x' minutes.

  

• When you enable the option "Never Show Glasses Icon", passwords can not be shown even when the password file is open. This option is in the 'At Startup' Preferences Panel.

CMM Plug-in

Web Confidential is now accompanied by a Contextual Menu Manager (CMM) Plug-in. Its purpose is to make entering data into Web Confidential cards much easier. For example. Select a piece of text in your e-mail message or text editor and then Control-Click. With the hierarchical command shown below, you can transfer the data to one of the five available fields of a Web Confidential card. The command adds data to the current open card. If there is no open card, a new card is created in the current category.

To install this CMM Plug-in, drag and drop it to the System Folder (Mac OS 8 or higher is required).

Note: because many applications still do not support the Contextual Menu Manager of Mac OS 8, it is important that you install Apple Data Detectors. This will make sure you can Control-Click on selected text in any application: Go ahead and download Apple Data Detectors.
